I have known the Hurston family for a number of years. John and Maxine Hurston will always be among those I personally consider my heroes in the faith and ministry! God has used the Hurstons in amazing ways. They have lived lives of the utmost personal purity and integrity, from their years on the mission field, to working with Dr. Cho in the world's largest church, to teaching church growth and ministering at Bible colleges.

Karen continues in the great legacy of her parents. Karen is not only my friend but has worked on my staff, she has been a church member, as well as in a consulting role. I thought I was a teacher until I met Karen Hurston! Karen is the clearest, best organized, and most interesting teacher I have ever met.
